W. Jameson McFadden

As CEO, Mr. McFadden oversees daily company operations, supervision of revenue-producing practices and firm policy, and the management of financial affairs. He is at the helm of all marketing efforts, including recruitment and website maintenance and is the chief cyber security risk officer. In his role as Senior Portfolio Manager, he manages client portfolios and sits on the Wellington Shields Investment Committee. He is also co-Portfolio Manager of the Wellington Shields All-Cap Fund. As with all WSC Board members, Mr. McFadden maintains a welcoming open-door policy with all his colleagues.

Jameson resides in New York City with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, the outdoors, and travel. He maintains his involvement in his family winery in Mendocino County, California and serves on the Steering Committee of the American Museum of Natural History’s Junior Council. Mr. McFadden also serves on the Board of the Headstrong Project, which provides cost and stigma-free mental health care for post-September 11th military veterans and their families.

Andrea Costello

Current:

Andrea works with senior management of Wellington Shields (WSC) on strategic projects to enhance and grow our wealth management services and recruitment. Additionally, she serves as Head of Institutional Research Sales for Dudack Research Group (DRG), a division of Wellington Shields, marketing US macro research to buy-side firms including mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, and family offices. This includes US equity market strategy, and two models (SP1500 momentum model and SP1500 valuation model).

Previous Experience/Career Highlights:

Prior to Dudack/Wellington, Andrea was an SVP and top performer at Prudential Financial in Institutional Equity Sales, promoting the firm’s equity research to large institutional investors in the US and CanadaAndrea frequently organized special events and highly coveted meetings between her clients and senior corporate managements. Earlier, she served as a Vice President of Product Marketing at both LF Rothschild and Donald, Lufkin & Jenrette, marketing research to the internal sales teams in New York, London, Paris, Geneva, and Lugano. Andrea began her career in private banking at Chase Bank (now JP Morgan) as an Investment Associate in the Investment Management Division, but it was her summer internships at Salomon Brothers in Government Bonds that triggered a passion to forge a Wall Street career.

Time spent with her two children is a top priority for Andrea. The Costellos love going to the theater, athletic activities, playing with their dog, and simply hanging out binge-watching Netflix favorites. She has served as President of the Munsey Park Women’s Club, and on the board of other local educational and civic organizations, and mentored dozens of Cornell students who share her interest in finance.

Eileen Connolly

Current:

Eileen Connolly is a Managing Director of Herbst Wealth Management and head of Fixed Income Trading. She has spent 20 years at Wellington Shields as a senior member of The Herbst Wealth Management team.  In her role as Managing Director, Eileen provides comprehensive advisory services that cater to high-net-worth individuals and families, corporations, trusts, and foundations across many asset classes.  She is especially adept in the municipal fixed income markets as well as investment grade taxable bonds.

Previous Experience/Career Highlights:

Prior to joining Wellington Shields & Company, Eileen served as a fixed income trader and assistant portfolio manager at Dominick and Dominick and at Cowen & Company.

Education and Certifications:

Eileen earned her B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from SUNY Stony Brook.

Other Interests and/or Affiliations:

In her free time, Eileen enjoys spending time with her three children, hiking the Long Island beaches and parks, biking, or reading a good book.
